I’m a Senior Library Supervisor overseeing Children’s Services for an eight branch system in Southern California.

Prior to this position, I spent most of my career at a nearby library system where I was a Senior Library of Children’s Services, a Branch Library Manager, and a children’s librarian for 10 years.

I love working with children in a public library setting and supporting others who do this work as well.  It’s creative, challenging and people-focused. As a Children’s Librarian, I got to present storytimes, develop programs, purchase books for the collection, lead kids to books they’ll love, and help people find the information they need to make their lives better.  Now as a manager, I get to help support a team of people who do all that as well.  It’s such a fulfilling career.
