Birthday cakes are fun
Blow one out,
Then there is 1.
1 birthday candle,
the party’s almost done.

Thanks! Birthday cakes really are a versatile flannelboard piece to have, aren’t they, because you can use them with a lot of different rhymes.
I always self-indulgently bring mine out around my own birthday.

It’s 2020 and this is perfect. We can use it on a video chat with children blowing on their fingers as they follow along with a finger play.
